Last Mile PPE is a network of local volunteers and like-minded organizations in communities across the country addressing the “last mile” challenge of getting life saving PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) directly into the hands of frontline medical workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Self-organized local groups gather on-the-ground information about healthcare workers' critical PPE needs, source masks, gloves, gowns, goggles, and other equipment, and coordinate delivery of those items to frontline healthcare workers.

The #NolaPPE chapter of Last Mile serves the New Orleans area, as well as other communities in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
